  1. I haven’t got a clue what an Eliminator battery is, but I can tell you we definitely don;t have one.

  2. I have no idea what an Eliminator Battery is, but I love what you did there :)

  3. I’m glad that your dinner was saved, very clever! I really have to look into a generator for our house, just in case.

  5. Hi! Stopping by from SITS. This reminds me of the time our power went out and I hooked my Keurig coffee maker up to the generator. Hey, priorities right?

  6. Well I can say for sure that I never thought of this before! Guess I need to see if I can find a 220v one for Germany…just in case ;p

  7. That is a fantastic use of a generator. Way to save the day and be prepared. Found your blog via STIS.

  8. This is a genius idea!

We lost power a few years ago during a huge snow storm. We toughed it out for a few days, but having a generator like that one would have been awesome! I could have had freshly brewed coffee!

  9. What a great idea. And a great gift too!

  11. That battery is awesome! We need one here. I just got an external battery which is going to come in handy for our electronics if the upcoming storm takes out our power…hopefully it won’t! Visiting via #sitsblogging.

  12. This is great! I have always had a gas stove so it still worked when we lost power but we just bought a house with an electric stove so if we lose power we’re in trouble. I will have to remember this
