Homemaker Monday: Organize Your Life With Mom Command Centre

I am back with another Homemaker Monday. Thank you so much to everyone who linked up last week. This week I am bringing you a great tip on how to organize your life with what I call the mom command centre.

Organize Your Life With Mom Command Centre

I am sure I am not the only one with pieces of paper everywhere. From menu plans to school schedules to daily routines. It is hard to keep track of everything. A major player I use to organize my life is what my friend Rosie and I call the Mom Command Centre.

I have this hanging up on the wall right beside my front door. On it I have our menu plan for 2 weeks. A calendar with important school dates and appointments. A baby sitter list with emergency contacts and my weekly cleaning schedule.

Tobei also uses this to leave the kids and I notes each morning. It is our go to place for communicating with one another and making sure we have everything we need for the day.

When I first bought this to organize our lives Tobei thought I was crazy. Now he loves it and in fact, he uses it even more than I do.

Tune in next week when I will share with you how I organize my life while on the go.

  1. I even draw on it! :)

  2. We have something similar, only it’s a bulletin board.

  3. I have a command center too….The family computer has pretty much become “Mom’s” computer and the computer table is organized in a way that works best for me. I have all the usual office essentials, my notebooks where I scribble notes, I also have a mid-size bulletin board for really important school papers/dates & the art work that HAS to be showcased. My menu plan is put on the front of the fridge so that everyone (the hubs and I) knows what for dinner (or supposed to be anyway) each night.

  4. Things like that always manage to get destroyed at my house. I seem to do better with keeping everything on a computer!

  5. Absolutely love my command center, however I need to remember to use it more instead of just walking by all the time. lol :)

  6. I have a similar command station. We have a bulletin board for just school stuff and we have another white board that we used as menu plan and activities.. I really should put the other big white board up and start using that again.

  7. I love the one central area for things. I so need to do something like this!

  8. I need to do this!! My desk is SO unorganized with coupons, paperworks, etc!…. on my list to do this month!!
