With little ones in school we are always trying to think of ways to celebrate the holidays. Here is a very easy how to make your own valentine suckers tutorial that you can send to school on Valentine’s Day. Not only are these valentine suckers super easy to make but they are also allergy friendly for your child’s classmates.

Valentine Suckers Ingredients

1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
1/3 cup Corn Syrup
1/8 of Unsweetened Kool Aid drink mix (cherry, Black Cherry, Pink Lemonade, etc.)
5 Lollipop Sticks

Spray Valentine’s Lollipop Heart Mold with non stick cooking spray.
Place sticks in heart mold and put in freezer until ready to use.
In a large pan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup.

Valentine Suckers Process

Cook on high until you get to 300 (hard crack stage).
Add 1/8 of the contents of the Kool-Aid packet (amount in packet varies based on flavor).
Remove from heat and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Pour into valentine heart molds and allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing.

Valentine Suckers Mold

Wrap in a cute cellophane wrap from your local dollar store and tape on to a cute valentine card. Now you have the perfect treat to send to school with your child on Valentine’s Day.
