Elevator Pitch: “Ever feel like no one keeps it real in blog land anymore? At Nolie’s Place we stay true to who we are. You will find a stay at home mom and sometimes her fiance blogging about their lives and you can be sure to find something you can relate to. Be warned though we seem to be allergic to sugar so we do not sugar coat anything.”
My Family
I am a 29 year old SAHM to a wonderful 4 year old boy known on here as Big Brother and Little Brother who was born on Halloween 2011. I am engaged to Tobei and we are just trying to get through life one day at a time. Between a four year old, a baby, Tobei’s career and Big Brother’s birth father life is not always easy. We also have a lab that I refer to as puppy. She is 5 and just like another kid. I swear she thinks she is too good for the floor. We also recently got a cat named Toby whose mission is to drive me crazy every day. Why a blog?
I needed a hobby. That is the easy answer. I stumbled on to a blog one day and thought “Hey, I could do this and find others who relate at the same time”. So I started my blog in March 2010. I love being able to write about whatever is on my mind. I love knowing that people are reading and supporting me. I love feeling like I have a voice. I love that through blogging I have met other moms like myself. For those reasons and many more here I am and I don’t plan on leaving any time soon.
What can you expect from my blog
You just never know. I don’t have any special talents nor do I lead a life of adventure. However I am honest and usually always have an opinion. From me you can expect to read about my life in general and whatever happens to be on my mind that day. I may direct you to a favorite blog of mine, I may post a great deal I found while shopping or I may just be bringing attention to supporting our troops. I can promise nothing except that I am here and not leaving anytime soon.
