Tobei and I have decided Valentine’s day is totally overrated and overpriced. Flower shops jack up prices like 300%. Restaurants create special menus with crazy prices. Those in love are pukey in love that day and those single are miserable. So to us it’s another day. I could not resist myself when I found this picture this morning and I HAD to e-mail it to Tobei.
Heck I found it so funny I made it my profile picture on facebook. Yup romance is totally alive. Oh and the poor little bugger who loves me thankfully found it funny and did not come home expecting chocolate as there was none.
I actually think its really nice to have a devoted day to someone you love. We try to recoganize each other constantly, but we do celebrate holidays as well…when given a chance, I always say to take the time to step out of the norm and do something for your significant other. Chris also made Charlotte a card and I bought everyone dinner.
Love is never a waste of time.

I’m with you on Valentine’s Day being BS. I want to know he loves me all year long, not just February 14th.
I saw that on Facebook and laughed. DH and I don’t celebrate Valentines day either, but I do get a little something for the kids usually.
