Leading up to Christmas I was out doing my shopping for the most dreaded task of all for me, stocking stuffers. As I am standing in line with about a million other people waiting to check out I look over to the right and what do I see? A display of Barbie and Hot Wheels Kinder Surprise Eggs. I was super stoked. I grabbed the last 3 pack sitting on the shelf (guess I was not the only one excited for these) and rushed home to hide them in the closet for Big Brothers stocking. I thought this was a genius idea and marketing plan. A great switch up from the already wonderful toys you can find inside a Kinder Egg. I am sad though that it is limited edition. However with a 1 in 3 chance of the egg having one of these limited edition toys your chances are pretty good to get one.
Big Brother LOVES Hot Wheels. The tracks all over my basement and wall tracks all over his room can attest to this. So when I received a giant box of these limited edition Kinder Surprise eggs I was all over finding reasons to give Big Brother a treat. So far between the two of us we have eaten 5 eggs and received to Hot Wheels toys. They are pretty awesome. I can’t tell you about the Barbie ones as I gave those to a friend with 2 girls. However I can tell you I received a phone call with a giant thank you yelled into the phone from them, so they must be pretty cool too.

You know, I only learned of Kinder eggs when we lived in the Netherlands. One time they had the coolest little robot inside that you built! It’s nice to see the variety they are providing for boys and girls of varying ages!
I actually just got notification that I won two 24pack from this facebook promotion I fiiled out the forms sent them back and just got notification that my packages will be sent via mail. My son is super stoked!
