I put Little Brother in the exersaucer for the first time the other day and he was all smiles and enjoying himself. Then the big bad mommy pulled out the camera with the evil flash. This is the outcome of that.
P.S. Anyone know how to turn off the flash on the Canon Rebel Xsi while keeping it in automatic mode?

I have the manual and the book dummies guide to the canon rebel xsi. I should probably find them and see what they say. I don’t think they have been unpacked from the move.

My 4 year old is used to the flash. Baby hates it and I can not get a good picture of him because of it.

I have a Canon Rebel T1i, and am still trying to figure out some of the modes and what not! So I can’t be much help, sorry lol.

LOL cute capture! I have that camera body and have long now banned the flash. I can’t stand the harsh contrasts it creates in photos. I’d rather not take a picture at all than have to resort to the flash! On mine it looks like an empty green rectangle. It is auto without the flash. Try it out – you’ll be amazed by the color quality in your photos.

I found the auto without the flash and LOVE it. You are right. The pictures are so much nicer and warmer without it. I find myself taking more pictures now. A step in the right direction to learning the camera and how to take good pictures of the kids.

hehee cute! I have a canon rebel but an older model. for mine the no flash setting is the last one on the dial on the automatic side.
That is exactly where mine was located. Thank you, I got much happier kids now that the flash has been banned.
