My Favourite Blog Posts of 2011

A few sites I read are doing link ups where you share your favourite posts from 2011. I thought this was a great idea so decided I would join in.

new year

January
The post would anyone help your child being abducted had me staring at the screen in disbelief and then brought tears to my eyes.

February
My favorite post for February is Monday Mingle on February 28th. I am sure you can understand why it came in first place for February.

March
I let it out how annoying I find the letters FML and share a little story with our spin on it in a text message between Tobei and I.

April
I profess my love for Old Nave in the post Old Navy… How I love thee.

May
In a post where I just unload everything on my mind that week I answer the question “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?“.

June
I can’t narrow it down to just one post. June was a month that involved finding out the sex of the new baby,  having a cute conversation with Big Brother and then I shared some pretty funny pregnancy cartoons that any mother can relate to.

July
After attending the Social Capital conference in Ottawa I came home and shared with you all 6 Steps to Getting Started in Social Media and How to tackle social media in 1 hour.

August
In August I showed how smart I am and highlighted a downside to pregnancy in my post Word With Friends Funny Story.

September
Another month where I can’t pick just one post. In September I blogged about being ecstatic that the US gets rid of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. I also shared about how my baby shower turned into a day that could not end fast enough. And I also blogged about my baby officially being a big boy and headed to kindergarten.

October
October had me sharing a letter someone wrote stating that homosexuality is wrong because the bible says so.   But most importantly in October Little Brother was born.

November
Best post of November has to be What It’s Really Like to be a Blogger. Close 2nd place would be where Zach Wahls speaks about family.

December
December found me wondering if parents are the only ones to setting a bad example . Then along came Christmas where I share the top ten politically correct Christmas Carols and my favourite childhood Christmas memory.

So there you have it. My favourite posts of  2011. What were some of your favourite posts of 2011?

  8. This is such a great idea! You wanna know something funny? Up until today, I was paranoid that I was pregnant. One of the things that I thought about was how you couldn’t come to Blissdom Canada because it was so close to your due date. I look at pictures of your little guy and wish that somehow I could relive my last pregnancy. In the meantime, I’ll just live vicariously through you!

Yup due date sucked for Blissdom Canada. Now I get to do Halloween and a birthday party on the same day every year. No clue how that will work. But I am NOT missing Blissdom Canada this year and have made that clear to everyone in my family.

You can live through my baby days but not my pregnancy. Never again I hope. I am done having kids.
