Tonight I read a post that gave me warm fuzzies. Awhile ago I took a workshop that I wrote a review on. You can find it on the review portion of my site or to save you the trouble here it is. Workshop Review. Well when that all fell apart the participants and I were talking and Alyna came up with a brilliant idea. Why not start a site dedicated to bloggers helping bloggers to improve their blogs. That night Better Your Blog was born. It has been up for awhile now but I was waiting for it’s theme to be done before I posted about it. The theme was launched tonight. You should go over and check it out. While you are there check out the 2 guest posts I have already done up. They may look familiar to you however I rewrote them and added some more stuff to them. They are Dear Bloggers and Five Blogging Tips. Pretty awesome posts in my personal opinion.
Now where was I? Oh yeah, I was talking about warm fuzzies. So today Alyna did up a post titled Part II: Design – Beyond The First Impression and guess what… Yours truly AKA moi was featured in the blog post. She says and I quote:
Nolie redesigned her blog a couple months ago and, speaking from a readers standpoint her blog went from “blah” to “ah ha!”. Her old design was so forgettable, I can’t even remember what it looks like. Now, I think of Nolie’s Place and I can easily visualize her blog because it is memorable. She has used a butterfly theme and her tagline is “Fluttering My Way Through Life”. The theme and the purpose of her blog are so cohesive and memorable and the site is easy on the eyes
How freaking awesome is that! I totally got warm fuzzies from it. Yes I know, I am a loser. Then Kate from Mommy Monologues (who by the way is amazing and I love chatting with her), commented and wrote:
Nolie from Nolie’s place who emailed me last night & told me that she thought that I didn’t some division between the columns. I had never thought of that & she was right! I now have an even more defined space.
And you’re right about Nolie’s new design. I remember the first time I saw her new layout & I definitely though “ah ha!” I thought then & think now that it looks great!
Though by the way what she meant to say was that I told her I thought she needed a visual division between her columns. Then tonight Kate needed a little bit of help to set up her feed so she e-mailed me asking if I could help. I wrote her up step by step directions and sent them off to her. I got an e-mail back from her telling me that I rock. Warm fuzzies again for me.

Oh what a nigt and days that turned into weeks that was…. lol now. Your site does look good Nolie. I barely remember it before, but now I can say that iut has a good feel to he look and the flow.

Glad you enjoyed the story. I got lots of little stories like that. You should read the story on my first words. I was quite the kid to raise and my son seems like he may give me a run for my money.

Knock on wood twitter seemed to have stopped hating me since they cleared the cache on my account for me. Now that I am officially hooked on twitter I think I will cry if it decides to hate me again.
