It’s official, Tobei has fluttered to Nolie’s Place!
Welcome to my first ever post on Nolie’s Place!
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is 
and I’m a 28 year old man. I’m about six feet tall and I weigh about 210 pounds (on average). I’ve been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces now for 10 years. Yes, thats all I’m gonna say about that. (for now teehee). I’ve been with Nolie now for the first 2 years of the rest of our lives together (awww). So anyway, enough about me, myself and I, lets get on with the meat!
Early start to the weekend!
Sometimes, when the planets align just right, the winds blow the right way, and I stand facing Mecca, my boss will let me go home early on a Friday. Lucky for me, everything lined up today! I got home around quarter-after noon! Stretched out in a lawn chair on the front step sharing interesting tales of the day’s events with my Nolie, life’s looking up! I got the whole day to just relax, and enjoy some time off… Or do I!?
Nolie: ‘Honey?’ (Whiney, but cute tone)
Me: ‘Yes my love?’
Nolie: ‘We need to mow the lawn, it’s going to rain all weekend.’ (Gist of what was said)
Me: ‘Uggg’….
So much for some time to relax… (And that’s just where it started, we now have included a trip to the mall for ‘ring pickup’ duty). But, I’ll do it, and I’ll find someway to enjoy myself (I always do) because that’s just what I do. For now I’m going to take my little bits of relaxation where I can find them, and enjoy my work-free afternoon with my family.
WhooooooOOOOOAAAAHHHH geek out!
So, my new ‘around the house’ nickname adorned upon me by my beautiful and considerate wife Nolie is now ‘Geek’. Alternates include ‘Dork, Nerd and Freak’. Why you might ask? Why would such a wonderful human being be calling me these names on a regular basis? Is it to belittle me? Insult me? Or is it another act from ‘The Man’ to try and keep me down!? Nope! It’s because of this… Let me know what you think too!

@Lorna: I happen to be a long-time fan of the star trek series. I’m no fanatic by any means, but I did and still do enjoy the shows on occasion. I just like how the star-trek computers interface looked, so I’m changing my iPhone to look like that.
